If you have ever wanted to host a PermaLinx party, the idea is simple: invite your people, add a little snacks-and-music fun, and let a jBloom Designer bring the permanent jewelry to you. A holiday get-together is a natural fit, since matching bracelets make memorable gifts. Here is how it works, based on what jBloom shares on its host page.
jBloom describes two ways to gather. A jBloom Boutique can happen in your home, online or in your area, with your designer creating the shopping experience. A PermaLinx Pop-Up can happen almost anywhere. jBloom’s FAQ mentions salons, small businesses, homes, restaurants and parks.
Timing is easy to plan around. jBloom says each bracelet takes about 3-6 minutes to put on, a personal appointment runs about 15 minutes, and a group boutique with friends lasts 1-2 hours. That makes it a nice fit for a cozy evening or a weekend afternoon.
Start with your designer. If you do not already have one, use the find a designer tool or reach out to me and ask questions. Your designer handles the fittings and the shopping.
Pick a date and a spot. Think of a living room, a favorite local shop or a holiday open house. Choose a time when your friends can linger, because everyone will want to try on pieces and pick their own bracelet.
Invite a mix of people. Moms, sisters, coworkers and bridesmaids all love a shared moment. If you are building a gift list, a party is a fun way to cross off several names at once. Because PermaLinx must be fitted in person, jBloom suggests booking ahead and asking your designer about a gift certificate for anyone who cannot attend.
Keep it relaxed. Set out a few treats, play some music and let guests browse PermaLinx bracelets while they wait. jBloom lists bracelets starting at $45, but check the page for current styles and pricing.
jBloom’s host page lists Event VIP rewards based on boutique sales. At $250-$499 in sales, the page shows 10% in free jewelry and 2 half-priced items. At $500-$749 it shows 15% and 3 half-priced items, at $750-$999 it shows 15% and 4 half-priced items, and at $1,000 or more it shows 20% and 5 half-priced items. Rewards depend on your party’s sales, and jBloom controls the details, so read the host page for the full plan before you set a date.
Plenty of hosts end up wondering what the designer side looks like. jBloom says you can purchase a PermaLinx starter collection for $175, and the join page explains the next steps. If you want a realistic picture first, read my post on whether permanent jewelry is a good side business. It is a business, so it takes time and effort, and results differ for everyone. I am always happy to answer questions with no pressure.
If a party feels like too much right now, you can book a single appointment instead. My guide on what to expect at a PermaLinx appointment walks through the whole visit, and my PermaLinx guide covers the basics.
Visit the Event VIP and hosting page to see all the details, then contact me and we can talk dates. Want to try it yourself first? Shop jBloom or book a PermaLinx appointment. If you are curious about the business, learn more about joining as a designer.
