A lot of us have been getting real use to wearing leggings all day long. Once we are able to resume life as normal, styling an actual outfit may be like a foreign language. To help out, I have put together an easy styling guide for “post stay-in-place”.
I am starting us off as easy as possible…with white. If you don’t own white jeans and a basic white tank, then you can grab them online. These will be staple items for the rest of Spring and all Summer long. My favorite everyday tank is from Target. It comes in so many colors I can match them with every outfit I own. They are priced great as well (hint: under $10). My Favorite colors for Spring and Summer are…
White jeans are easy. They go with any top you own right now. You can get them anywhere online, but my picks are these two.
Next you need to pull out some of your “Go-to” fashion essentials. If you have a denim jacket, you are already ahead of the game. Jean jackets are one of this year’s favorite trends. I love this one because it is studded with faux pearls, instantly adding a vintage chic vibe. You can get this denim jacket online for under $50! Strappy sandals are another transitional trend almost everyone already has. Perfect for any casual Spring day and those Summer sundresses. These sandals come in three colors, and are only $15.99. The straw handbag is just as versatile, but if you don’t have one, then any light neutral colored handbag will do. Summers always feature fashion accessories made of straw and other natural materials, so this handbag fits right in. The blush color, and woven floral accents, flawlessly fit with any Spring style, and it’s under $35. The last item I picked is a pair of sneakers. If you thought sneakers can’t be glamorous then let me introduce these Golden Goose Superstar croc-effect sneakers. The design is unique, but not overboard. Perfectly stated style with fashionista favorites, like crocodile print, pink, and metallic. They are the perfect pair of shoes to wear to get back into the swing of styling.
Of course, we can’t forget the jewelry! Here, I picked some Plunder Design Jewelry favorites. These pieces were selected because they are perfect for pairing with multiple Spring and Summer styles.
If you need to update your jewelry box, you can browse Plunder Design Jewelry here! Plunder Design creates fashion jewelry that is affordable AND great quality. Each piece is designed to mix and match with other Plunder Design jewelry. You can create multiple styles, even if you don’t have a ton of jewelry. I used less than 15 pieces, with no overlap, for my styles, but you could easily use only 10 without sacrificing any style!
This jewelry, with these selected fashion products, creates a Spring chic style with a hint of glamour. The bracelet set is called the Miloh Set, and it is a beautiful blend of blushing coral and bejeweled blue. This enchanting color combination is carried throughout each piece, gorgeously engaging with wooden elements and hints of cream and gold. The blue of the denim and pink hues in the sneakers and woven handbag, enhance each other to perfection. These colors are not only popular for Spring, they will be fashion favorites for Summer. If you love this whole style, then you will love The Neutral Set, which includes the Miloh set, Addie earrings, and Selene necklace (all shown here).
If you are looking for similar style, lower order total, then check out this “on a budget” style.
This look still includes the Addie earrings, and Selene necklace , but replaces the bracelet set with two bracelets from the “on a budget” jewelry picks. The Addison Bracelet is one of my favorites. It’s bold enough to wear on its own but can also be work stacked. I recommend stacking with The Sarah Bracelet. The mix of gold, white, and silver mix seamlessly with the warm and cool tones of the blue and coral. My next style includes these two bracelets as well.
This style is a mix of fun and flirty with a dash of Boho. The Bamboo Necklace makes this outfit shine with alternating light blue iridescent and bamboo beads. The natural element theme is also found in The Aleta Earrings featuring natural wood hexagons adorned with an eye-catching yellow gem. In addition to The Addison Bracelet and Sarah Bracelet, you will love the added style of The Brynn Bracelet and The Lindy Bracelet stacked along with them. The touch of gray in The Brynn Bracelet brings out the darker denim hues while keeping the all over style feeling neutral. The large links of The Lindy Bracelet make it a true statement piece.
If you want to make the natural elements really stand out, try wearing the sandals in Tan or Cognac. If you aren’t big on stacking bracelets, then the “on a budget” style is right up your alley.
It was difficult to pick which bracelet made it to the “on a budget” list, but in the end, I realized that was because it could really go either way. You could pick between Lindy and Brynn, either way you win. Here I picked Brynn because I like the touch of gray with the various shades of wood and bamboo. This would also look amazing with this cream striped tank.
Of course, Lindy looks just as fabulous, and the texture adds more of a vintage chic feel. You could increase the color by wearing a Navy blue tank instead of white.
I call this style Southern Glam. If you love leather and gold, then this look is made for you. The Eliana Necklace is so sweet and personal. The pearl encrusted initial pendant compliments the pearl studs on the denim jacket. Gold accents the leather cords of The Asher Necklace, setting the stage for the rest of the jewelry. The Meryl Bracelet features wood bead strands, brown cord, and cow print, giving you a stacked look in one piece. The Jaylah Earrings make just the right statement with their 3” drop and gold leather mix. The Geneva Ring is simply stunning, with modern design meeting vintage texture to create a ring that’s as flexible as it is beautiful. If you want to go less Western, then the “on a budget” style will make you smile.
Fot this look we let go of some leather and swapped The Asher Necklace for The Bamboo Necklace, and nixed The Geneva Ring. You can keep the Southern feel with The Jaylah Earrings and The Meryl Bracelet, and the charm of The Eliana Necklace, while sprinkling in a little Boho. This fashion combination is super chic and trendy.
